Nuclear Weapons Introduction

This module presents a description of the physics of nuclear weapons. After completing this module, you should be able to:

  • Understand and apply the concepts of nuclear reactions and radioactive decay,
  • Understand and apply the concepts of mass and atomic number,
  • Understand the concept of the binding energy and mass defect,
  • Understand the various conservation laws and their use of nuclear reactions.
